July 1971 MRS was established with a capitalization of 5 million yen as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. It was the only company entrusted with execution of coordination and exercise of radio communications work and any other related jobs for the whole fleet of the "K" LINE Group. July 1972 Tokyo Office opened April 1998 MRS was granted license for inspecting radio stations. October 1999 It was licensed as an inspection company by CLASS NK November 1999 Head Office moved to Tokyo. April 2000 MRS was developed into workshop for equipping and arranging navigational radars and into GMDSS service station. May 2005 The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications appointed MRS as agent "JP07" specializing in calculations. August 2005 MRS had become Authorized Accounting Authority of Panama Government. August 2008 MRS had become Authorized Accounting Authority of Singapore Government. January 2010 MRS had become Authorized Accounting Authority of Marshall Islands and Cayman Islands both Governments. October 2012 MRS had become Authorized Accounting Authory of Liberia Government. June 2020 MRS had become one of service contractors for Inmarsat Solutions Pte Ltd
